Intro

It all started rather as a joke I could say, during the first university year when I applied to Electronic Arts Romania for a Manual Quality Assurance Tester position. There I was basically doing what any teenager was dreaming, playing video-games and getting paid for it. After some time passed and I kept finding bugs and asking an exhaustive amount of questions to developers, I realized that I actually enjoy doing Quality Assurance work and wanted to change the "domain" a little, by experimenting with Software Testing, specifically, testing web applications.

The Software Testing journey began at Under Development Office, where they trusted me to learn enough to become a valuable asset to their at that time, QA-less team. There I got introduced to a humongous amount of tools, frameworks, blockchain and so forth, enough to peak my interest and make me learn more and more. After about one and a half years, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Engineer, allowing me to have a broader influence regarding both development and testing of most of the projects. Currently working for ZITEC as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Electronic Arts Romania

Manual Game Tester

2014 - 2017

During my time spent at Electronic Arts Romania I have been assigned different tasks from being a PoC (Person of Contact) where I had to create and maintain conversation with the producers, designers and developers throughout the day, in order to obtain best results. Having to give feedback for certain tasks or issue reports or to be under the wing of a Team Leader and create test plans for the whole project, to check submitted issues for validity and correct them where necessary was also a part of my duty.
